It seemed inaccurate to pursue a book with zero commitment and interest. The reading experience becomes painful and laborious instead of being insightful and fulfilled. Perhaps I picked the wrong Austen book as a starter. Will try other Austen titles in the future.
For now, I suffice in SparkNotes and other good synopses and reviews. Maybe engaging its adaptations will help me open this book again.
