Muse is unlike any Katy Evans book I've read before and that only makes me love it more. This fun, fast paced, playful read left me with the biggest smile on my face. Of the three Manhattan books, (Muse can be read as a complete standalone) I think this one is my favorite!!

I absolutely adore Becka and Noah. They have an incredible chemistry that you see right off the bat. We were first introduced to Becka in Tycoonl. She is Brynn’s best friend from Texas. As an aspiring romance author she came to New York looking for inspiration. On her way home, she misses her flight home and is stuck in the airport with the sexy stranger who also missed the flight. I swooned hard over Noah Steele. I was only half in hour into the story and I was already fully in love with him. He's cocky and egotistical but also charming and sweet. He was so much more than just a Hollywood superhero actor. He is determined in his pursuit of Rebecca.

Even though this book took place in one weeks time it didn't feel rushed or forced. Noah and Becka's relationship grew organically. I loved their games, their conversations, their connection. Of course, Katy Evans did a great job building the sexual tension between them.

Sometimes you just need a low angst, sweet, read-in-one-sitting instalove book to lift your spirits. Katy Evans’ Muse hits the right spot.

2.5 ‘Noah Steele saved this book like a real superhero’ Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Honestly, this book wasn’t that good. It went a little too fast, in terms of the main characters’ relationship. The plot was cute, but it was developed in a rushed and hurried. I absolutely hated the heroine!! I really could not stand Bekah, she was SO ANNOYING!! She literally cried and had a panic attack every time she step onto a plane with Noah. How TF did she fly all the way from Texas to New York in the first?! And she would NOT stop whining about her damn laptop. Like it wasn’t even that serious when her book was trash in the first place. She ruined the whole book for me. The only redeeming quality of this book was Noah Steele. That’s it. Literally...he’s the only thing I liked.

This can definitely be read as a standalone. Fun and quirky story following Becka and Noah through their misadventures at JFK and beyond.

This one didn't do it for me. While I very much enjoyed the other two books in this series, Muse wasn't my cup of tea.

You know when you read a book and swear on everything Holy the author was in your brain?

Author Katy Evans is the one! Especially with this book. Muse is everything.

Becka is me! She is really all of us in some way. She seriously says and does everything I do. Sooo relatable to her. I instantly connected with her the moment I read the first page. Such a lovable, memorable character.

And Noah is my soulmate I’ve been looking for. He makes believing that love can happen in the most outrageous ways. Sexy, funny, and full of life, his encounter with meeting Becka in an unusual way was the cherry on top of falling hard for him. Especially that their meeting was in NYC which I live in and totally was able to visualize every moment Becka & Noah had getting to know each other.

This book has it all & it is a Top 2018 Must Read & my newest favorite from Author Katy Evans.

Go #oneclick & find out why you will want to have the MUSE all to yourself.

I debated for some time whether I should add this to my read-collection and whether I should write a review for it or not. The thing is, I only read this book because there was absolutely nothing else available at the time and I knew that this is not my genre and that I would end up kind of hate reading it. And I skipped a few scenes that were boring to me.

That's why I'm definitely not the best person to write an objective and just review for this book.
I just want to give you the information that the story is very cliche, very insta-lovey and cheesy. It´s not badly written and basically, you get exactly what cover and synopsis promise, but if you aren´t a die-hard fan of this genre or the author I don´t recommend reading it

Quite short to get into the book.

My thoughts:
The book is about two characters who fall in lust when they meet in the airport. The girl faints the guy catches her and boom.. sparks on the skin.
They spend hours together - the girl fighting their attraction and the guy coaxing her to give in.
Several cancelled flights later (I have heart palpitations on cancelling one flight let alone the numbers they cancelled without blinking an eye)
It didn't really make me feel for them or what they were going through in their lives.
I basically brushed through it to the end. Not bad enough that I couldn't finish it but not good either that I wanted to spend time reading each word or page.

Wow

I really like this author’s work but this one really blew me away. I really liked the compressed timeline. It gave the story a sense of urgency that was fun to read. Sure, it was definitely insta-love but weirdly enough it didn’t feel too fast. The intensity of their time together made it seem believable. My only complaint is that the epilogue was a little skimpy. Maybe Lily will get a story so we can revisit Becka and Noah.
