2.7 AVERAGE

The book is set up for a big reveal that never arrives, and it seems like the author tries too hard to be deep and symbolic. At the end all I could think was 'what's the point?' However, I did like the language and writing style.

This book is not really to my tastes for reading even though I pushed myself to finish reading it. I found it hard to follow at times and I don't necessarily feel as though the characters really develop at all through the story line. There also did not appear to be any rhyme or reason for switching between who was telling the story and when. I believe the story had the potential to be interesting and, if written differently, may have really grasped my attention and brought me in to wanting to read it but, it just seemed to lack something. Maybe if it had been a little bit longer, more could have been added to really tie the whole thing together!

To the person that wrote this book is the next best thing since Cloud Atlas, f*ck you for tainting the name of David Mitchell with an association to such mediocrity.
