So touching and emotional and beautiful on so many levels. Reid and Mila’s story is an epic love story - with a lot of really good parts. They both need each other in so many ways and are already connected without even realizing it. This book is such a winner for me - and another stepping stone as I continue in the Kings of Retribution MC series because there is absolutely no stopping me now.
What a utterly sweet and heartfelt read!!!
This book isn’t your typical MC romance, this story focuses on the strength one woman has to love and care for many people. It’s discusses topics close to many people’s hearts and is an awe inspiring book.
Reid and Mila have an interesting relationship to start with and seeing how they danced around each other was hilarious... that shower scene, my gosh you could have cut through the sexual tension with that one. As an apt description I would say this book is transitional taking you through each stage of their relationship.
My only one gripe, and that’s because I’m nosey, is that I would have liked to have had more information about Reid and his families past to give more depth to the story and satisfy my curiosity.

3.5 stars.
This was so sweet.
I won’t lie. I saw the big reveal coming from about a mile away. To be honest, by the halfway point in the book I was getting impatient for the reveal to happen already.
But I do think it happened at a pretty good pace. I was just impatient to be validated.
This book is a lot less violent than the last two. Things have calmed down substantially, and Reid is just having to go through PT and work through recovering from the car hitting him.
It was sweet and had just enough steam to tide me over. Though I could always go for more.
I’m glad I picked it up. It was satisfying getting to see Mika get her HEA with Reid.
Plus seeing all the other characters and how they’re doing is always fun.

Series are tricky as there is no guarantee that story and the characters will be strong in every book. They tend to have ups and downs. Fortunately, that is not the case of the Kings of Retribution MC, which keeps getting better and better with each installment.
Finding Solace is the third book of the series and tells the story of Reid Carter, a computer wizard and a badass biker with a heart of gold, and Mila Vaughn, a single mother and nurse. We briefly meet these characters in [b:Undaunted|36274578|Undaunted (The Kings of Retribution MC, #1)|Crystal Daniels|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1505927930l/36274578._SY75_.jpg|57462879] (book 1) and [b:The Darkest Of Light|37789658|The Darkest of Light (The Kings of Retribution MC, #2)|Sandy Alvarez|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1514826200l/37789658._SY75_.jpg|58225589] (book 2). Here we finally get their back story and how they came to be. It perfectly mixes angst, sexiness, passion, and drama to create a storyline that grabs your attention from chapter 1.
Although it made me tear up several times, what I loved the most was how much it also made me smile. Sounds strange but, even when the story took unexpected turns filled with sorrow and sadness, the characters always came out strong with new and inspiring perspectives.

Polished and attention-grabbing writing with amazing character development makes Finding Solace a must-read. Can't wait for the next one because, if the first three books are any indication, they will continue to be strong and nothing short of aweing.

Reid(hero) was hit by a car and required a live-in-home nurse. Mila(heroine) and her daughter Ava, moved in with Reid.
I freaking love found family trope. Probably the best character in this story is Ava. Yes girl, go empty Quinn's wallet.
"Uncle Quinn says lots of bad words today" Yes, all of Reid's brothers have taken on the Uncle roles. Quinn's mouth alone is going to fund Ava's college tuition
