it reminded me of a story a high school boy would write to try and get a reaction out of his teacher. predictable and gross just for shock factor. my only positive comment is that there was no animal abuse. PLEASE please check trigger warnings before you read this though!!

What. The. Fuck. Why did I want to read this again? It’s fucked up on sooo many levels which is the point, but I wanted it to be scary and creepy, instead it’s like pervert creepy. No bueno. The story of Mary was so hard to read, it made me feel physically sick. And I hated the ending. You’re telling me after everything Shyla just went through and listened to that she would feel compassion?! Ugh

What an utterly stupid piece of trash. Bending and twisting the female anatomy to fit his sick imagination. The whole time I was reading, I wasn't disgusted by the gore, but by the stupidity of the scenes. This book was clearly written by a man who never touched a woman. He has no idea about the difference between a vagina and uterus. The "plot" made me cringe so hard that I was grinding my teeth. This is not horror. It's an abomination of a male fantasy.
