I wasn't fully in love with the main characters. They seemed a little too juvenile for me.  The book had some tragic moments in them that were surprising, but honestly not my favorite Colleen Hoover book. I don't think I really felt the full connection the book was trying to project.

I loved this!! The story and the characters were well written, you definitely weren't expecting the "plot twist". Yeah some parts were a little unrealistic but that's why I like Colleen's books, they're entertaining lol! This is a great summer read that takes place almost entirely on the beach and there's also no cliffhanger.

This was my second Colleen Hoover book, and I was not disappointed. It was so easy to read, and once the climax began, it was hard to put down. I expected to cry, but I didn’t; that’s fine, though. The ending was satisfying, and I found myself quickly falling in love with the characters. My favorites were Sara and Pepper Jack Cheese (I’m such a sucker for animals). The plot twist was unexpected for me but that’s Colleen for you 😂.
I also really liked that she showed the complexity of Samson’s life and the motives for his crimes
Side note: the cover is absolutely gorgeous; props to Murphy Rae.

oh my gosh. i just finished this book and it was absolutely amazing, just like all of colleen hoovers books have been so far. not quite as crazy as others like her book It Ends With Us but still one of my new favorite books. i 100% recommend it although like her other books there is some smut and a lot of kissing but again not nearly as bad as books like It Ends With Us or Ugly Love. great book :)

5/5 star read. 5 out of 5 star read.

colleen hoover put her whole heart into this book and i’m so happy this is one of my signed copies because idk how to live life rn.

i’m absolutely shook to my core rn. let me start from the beginning and collect my thoughts

from the beginning i knew i was going to love beyah. i knew she was going to be one of those characters that just stick with you forever. this isn’t your normal book. it has soul. it has passion. it has lessons. it has heart.

the dynamics in this book were some that truly stuck with me. beyah and sara. alana and beyah. beyah and samson. the list goes on it’s so endless.

the writing. the format. the word choices. i cannot express this enough it’s one of my favorite coho books.

i’ll leave y’all with a quote too <3

“please don’t make me the reason you give it all away.”
