Es un libro muy bien escrito, la descripción de sus persones y sobre todo el desarrollo de la historia hacen que sea un clásico que vale la pena leer. La letra de Mario Puzo es de mucha calidad, no es mi “cup of tea” pero es un libro que vale la pena de leer. Mi Segundo encuentro con el autor me dio muchísimas ganas de leer más de el. Que más podemos decir de este libro cuando ya se ha dicho todo.
Happy I finally read this book. Of course I've seen the movie and I recognize parts in the book, but the book is so much more, so rich.

A very enjoyable read, but it is a great illustration of how everyone can use an editor. Coppola eliminated a ton of unnecessary story (Lengthy descriptions of Sonny's member, pelvic floor tightenings, background story of ancillary characters) and the whole was better for it.
The movie follows the book pretty well. And I LOVE that movie.
