Will Robie had a terrible outcome on one of his missions that made it impossible for him to continue doing is "job" effectively. It's suggested to him that the confront and resolve the issues from his past if he ever wants to be able to do his job well again.  He receives news that his father is arrested for murder and decides to return to his hometown to help exonerate his father while dealing with his own past issues in the process.  While there, several more murders occur and his own life is also being threatened.  In order to free his father and catch the culprit, Will has to figure out all of the secrets swirling around his small Mississippi hometown.  I enjoyed the action and intrigue in this book and I love Will Rabies's character.  Overall, an enjoyable read and I can't wait for the next book in the series.  I gave it a 3.8 out of 5 star rating.

Read a lot like an average Harlan Coben book. The mystery was good, and slowly unraveled as more and more pieces to the puzzle were revealed. Robie, Reel, and (the girl from book 1. Cant remember her name) are all fantastic characters. And I did not think this book added anything more to their character development.

Good plot line with enough intrigue to keep me reading. Great finish. Didn't matter that I hadn't read the previous books.
