I enjoyed this a lot.  I liked the parts where that were reflective more than the present day. The way the main plot point came about felt really convenient and unrealistic to me. But it pulled everything together so I understand the goal. I do like this writer’s style and visions and want to read more of their work.

To be completely honest I was confused about the point of this book. I really like the raw emotion attached to it but I felt unsure of the books direction.

honestly just not a fan of the plot of the writing. don’t like reading about the detriment of blk woman, esp when i find the main character annoying.
