I’m a sucker for black lesbian/sapphic stories so I had to read this. Is it the most fantastic book on the planet? no but it was a good read. The pacing was very slow in my opinion and for there to be almost 300 pages nothing really happened and I didn’t like the cliffhanger at the end, however it kinda felt fitting given the story. There were sooo many times where I wanted to yell at the main character but she was very human. I just feel we could’ve gotten the same story in less pages.
