Having devoured this series with the goal of finishing before the next season comes out on Netflix, I was slightly mind-blown to discover that the books are *nothing* like the show. Seriously, Love shouldn't even be on this cover: she appears for a total of one scene in this instalment... and let's not even talk about the return of Candace. I honestly didn't think I was going to enjoy this read, it's not my usual genre at all, but I was pleasantly surprised by how obsessed I became with it! Very dark, very creepy (so check your trigger warnings) but a fun thriller on the whole! I'm interested to see where she goes next...

Liked the first two books better, this felt a little more all over the place plot wise. Random unsettling ending that I wish was different. Still enjoy the series and will read the next one. Darker than the show for sure!

This is the third book of the YOU series. Although I didn’t love it as much as I did the first two I still enjoyed it and the twists at the end. Joe Goldberg came back soft he is not the murderous man it was in the first two he got out of jail and took a new outlook on his life. I’m upset since I’ve been told this book doesn’t match up much to the newest season on Netflix which I knew from the beginning because the trailers all showed Love and Love wasn’t in the book until the very end which kind of made it a slight disappointment for me but that’s my fault for seeing the Netflix trailers.
