It has been several years since I have read a book from this author. In fact, it was when the author was writing under the published name, S.J. Bolton. Now that I have finished this book, I am going back and reading prior novels as well as keeping my eyes out for the next book. No matter what name the author goes by now, the writing style has not changed. Ms. Bolton can write a really great book.

It is always a great sign when instantly, the story can grab you and keep you focused until the last sentence. The sole survivor, Jessica could have just went to the police for help but instead she turned into a woman on a mission to exact justice for herself. The way that Jessica went about it was smart. However, she was not the only one that showed intelligence. There is Superintendent Ajax. He did not miss details in the case.

The storyline does flash back to the past. Yet, every time that it did, a little morsel of information was given that added to the present; making the story even more intriguing. I am happy to report that reading this book is not in vain as the ending is just as strong as the beginning. Ms. Bolton brings a powerhouse story filled with multifaceted characters in Dead Woman Walking!

SPOILER ALERT: Should have guessed it by the title, but so disappointing in a well-written, mystery that includes everything from a generations-old clan of Irish travellers, human trafficking and organ smuggling. The triple twist at the end features a ghost. Somebody help me. Leave this kind of thing to Stephen King. I hated the Sixth Sense for this very reason.

This is the fourth book I've read by Sharon J Bolton and so for its been a mixed bag. Two 3 stars, one 5 stars and now thos one which is a 4 stars. It had an somewhat intense and intruging plot even though I thought it was a tad difficult keeping up with everything but it could just be where my head is at the moment. Still a good thrilling read.

I will start by saying both the title and cover drew me into picking up this book and I knew it was going to be a good read. A b rilliant read infact! It was thrilling, full of suspense, contained plenty of twists and turns and kept me hooked throughout.

Dead Woman Walking is a one of a kind story I cannot compare to any others I have read so far. I loved every minute of reading this book! The story does flick back and forth from past to present throughout but the author has made it clear when it changes so there is no confusion for the reader. I must also mention the fact I did not suspect what would happen or emerge towards the end of this story, I was generally shocked. That’s the sign of a great book!

This story is perfect for readers who want a brilliant thriller, suspense and mystery rolled into one. The story is easy to read, fast paced and contains short chapters. I awarded a well deserved five stars and I will be reading more by this author in the future I hope. I would highly recommend this story to you all if you haven’t read it already.

Really enjoyable read. Many twists that kept me guessing until the end. It felt like it dragged on a bit in the middle, but overall it was great.
