Picked this up in Waterstones on a whim a few years ago. It’s an unusual reading choice for me - a farmers thoughts on life from over 100 years ago.
And I loved it! I found myself nodding at what he had written, agreeing with the thoughts of a middle aged man writing in pre - war rural Scotland. He had some profound thoughts and I enjoyed reading them.
