I wanted to get myself lost in a fantasy world and this did it for me :)
The time being this world’s form of currency really grabbed my attention while browsing the library. And while this world’s time’s value confused me throughout the book, it’s still interesting.

The ending of this book read like a bad soap opera. There were way too many plot twists and, I’m sorry, but I’m so done with the secret twin twist. The beginning and middle of this book were excruciatingly slow, and only like one thing happened during the first 200 pages. I only stuck with it because the whole time as currency seemed interesting. This just wasn’t for me. 2.75⭐️

I greatly enjoyed this book, but I feel that the author fell too deeply into stereotypes. However, I do have to say that I was not expecting the plot twist at the very end.

Loved the character development, loved the idea, but feel that it wasn’t executed as well as it could have been.
