Lowered to a four on reread. Apollo continues to annoy me though he is better in this book than the last one. I also found the defeat of the big bad of this book to be very quick and I didn't love the way it was done. However, I still really enjoyed this book and I thought the reveals were very well done. I am still very excited to continue in this series and see what happens next!

The Dark Prophecy is weird and hilarious, a very solid second installment in The Trails of Apollo series. It's weird, and a lot of fun. It's clear these books are headed toward an eventual culmination: the heroes of all three series, combining forces in the ultimate battle. That will be a 4+ star book. Maybe a series. Ooh, I hope it's a series.

The ladies love Leo
This book feels so dated in a way the others series really didn't cuz they don't mention much pop culture but all Apollo does is mention it and it always throws me
