Pretty decent, but for some reason the climax was a slog to finish. That probably has more to do with burnout than quality.

Although Meg and Apollo are still incredibly annoying, this book was a lot better than the first in the Trials of Apollo series. This one was actually really good. It was full if heart and some of the darker themes I've seen Uncle Rick touch upon in the Greek/Romans world. Hearing from Apollo was really interesting for his flashbacks and his coming to terms with the horrors he committed as a god.
