I loved it. I admit, when the crew first rolled up to Indianapolis, I thought the story dragged for a while. But when the main plot coalesced, the magic came together again. Apollo was again hilarious and serious by appropriate turns. The whole cast of characters was excellent, just so much depth and variety—not a cardboard personality in sight. These Apollo stories are still age appropriate for middle and high schoolers, but I appreciate that Apollo expresses a more mature perspective, as expected for someone with millennia of experience (all the while still being a rather self-centered deity).

3.5 stars . I didn't enjoy this as much as the previous book as I didn't find the plot as engaging, but it was still an easy, entertaining read.

To starting writing this series from the viewpoint of a God that has became fully mortal was brilliant. Thats all.
