Simon and the Better Bone by Corey R Tabor

A classic tale of not understanding how reflections work. The story didn't really do it for me, but I thought the vertical flip style was a clever way of denoting a mirrored surface!

Rating it 4* for the artwork. Otehrwise it's just a retelling of an Aesop's fable with a different moralistic ending.

A fabulous reltelling of the the Aesop's tale the dog and his reflection. I love the unique layout of the reflection and the humour added into the story. Plus a fantastic ending. :)

An endearing reworking of the Aesop fable about the greedy dog. Simon has the best bone, but when he sees the dog in the pond has a BETTER one, he's consumed with jealousy. By the author of Mel Fell, this book not only turns a fable on its head, Tabor turns the whole layout of the book around, to great effect.
