DNF at 29% this one just wasn't working for me. I cringed the whole time I read about Alex learning to ride the bike, and his trip to the emergency room, really..??? Then I managed to get to the part where Theo finds Alex's sex toy collection, then decides he wants to try one out. I just couldn't keep going. Using someone else's dildo while they aren't home is just too creepy and gross for me.
Such a shame, as I really enjoyed book 1 of this series, and was so excited to read about Theo and Alex. Maybe one day I will pick up and try to finish, but for now I have other books to enjoy.

They keep getting better

So much a-dork-able M/M love. Each offering in this series is better than the last. I love Alex and his random facts and I am thrilled Theo can work past his love for his best friend. You can't go wrong with this author or this series.

3.5 stars. Cute but with much more of an NA feel than the other two books in the series. Alex was an interesting character and Theo was adorable with all the ways he wanted Alex to explore the things he missed out on in his youth and the way he supported Alex in finding his true path in life. Theo was a bit underdeveloped in his own right though. The chemistry between the boys was scorching, but the love story felt a little easy and underwhelming. Overall this was an enjoyable read, but not my favourite in the series.

I was so excited for this book, I stayed up until midnight on release day so I could read it the minuet it came out.
However, I found I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first two. I found it just fell short a little.
I still thought it was wonderfully written and sexy as hell.
I loved the fact it brought in some sexy sex toys and I love the whole roommate trope.
I can't even really put my finger on why I felt it fell short but there just seemed to be something missing.
The chemistry between the two characters didn't seem as hot as previous books by the same author. Maybe that was it.
Anyway, 4* and I shall deffo reread this when I reread the series again.

I don’t remember if I saw Alex and Theo coming together as a couple or if this was a surprise to me, but I do like them together. There was potential for comparison between Elijah and Alex by Theo as well as a lack of communication but thankfully neither happened. I think this could be read as a standalone but you’d miss the history so I personally would not like reading this without the other two first.

I looked back at my review of Rocket Science and saw I wasn’t all that interested in Alex, but I quite enjoyed this story. Alex and Theo sharing entertaining banter and have off the charts chemistry that becomes hard to hide.

I really enjoyed the friends-to-lovers aspect of this story and Theo giving Alex so many experiences he missed out on as he grew up too quickly. When they decide to start a physical relationship, the feelings are already there…which makes the relationship work better in the long run.

I appreciate the low angst. Alex finds his strength in Theo and Theo FINALLY faces his feelings for Elijah.

There is talk of Holden and Jordy in the next one maybe? I guess we’ll wait and see!

2.5? I’m not sure how to rate this book but I did find Alex and Theo to be pretty cute together. It wasn’t as good as Rocket Science, but it was pretty fun all the same. I was a bit frustrated by the usual stupid dancing-around-each-other, and some things were glossed over when I wanted more detail (such as the stuff with Alex’s parents), but it was okay overall.
