The first half of the book is interesting. However, once Phillips gets to Hollywood it seems like all she does is name drop and the second half of the book falls into a weird pattern of “here are famous people I hung out with, a job I did or didn’t get, and more famous people, also men are shit.” While I might agree with the latter part, the droning on made this book a no for me.

I fell in love with Busy Philipps because of this book. Listening to it was even better than I could have imagined.

I’ve read more moving memoirs, but it does say something that I read this in a single day.

Listening to Busy Phillips narrate her memoir is a beautiful experience. I loved every moment

Audiobook was great... except for the weird voice Philipps uses as a stand in for her mother. Definitely out of touch with reality, but ya kinda knew that going in, right? If you're a fan of her work, then this is a fun audiobook to play during your errands. Philipps' natural storytelling ability makes this easy to consume in bits.
