I was afraid the book was a little too crass for me at the beginning - but then it became so relatable and enjoyable I couldn’t put it down. So incredibly vulnerable and inspiring as a hispanic woman who struggles with mental health issues.

I was recommended this book by a mentor of mine and did not realize it was the same author who wrote another one of my favorites "I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter". I relate A LOT to Ericka in a lot of ways, but we also differ a lot. This made reading it so much more enjoyable because you had no idea what she was going to say next!
