This was a lot. Very spicy with not enough plot for page count. Cannot stress enough to double check trigger warnings. Not for me.

This book was HOT!! Like max spice level. The story mixes so well with the Spice factor. I love the intensity of the characters and their personality. It added so much to the story. Even the side characters are loveable. I was not expecting the ending but that made it so much better!!

Holy cupid, what an introduction to Emily Shore 😍 I really loved the characters-desperate for more Crescendo & Pothos. I loved the fluff, if it can even be called that since it was so steamy. The story didn't get lost due to the fluff though, which is always a major thing for me. I loved loved loved the kinks.

I received this book as an ARC from the author. That does not affect my rating. This book is hot, it’s Jane Eyre meets Eros and Psyche meets beauty and the beast. I LOVED it. Please read trigger warnings before picking up but this book is so beautifully written with an ending even I didn’t predict. I really thought this was going to be my first romance not end in a HEA and I was heartbroken, enough to feel the anguish but satisfied that it all worked out in the end. I loved Aradia and saw so much of myself in her. I loved all the ties to love being the strongest force in the world. I am very much looking forward to reading more from this author. The only notes that I had were I felt Cress’s playlist seemed kind of out of place at times but I do appreciate how it added to the campiness of an otherwise impressively serious novel.
