I absolutely loved this book. It was such a sweet, cute romance and I loved the characters and their relationships.  I’m looking forward to seeing the other couples!!

I should probably make "Hallmark movie but make it steamy" an official tag.

I picked this up because I fancied reading an independently published adult romance, and I'd seen a few friends reading it recently. (Also the cover is just lovely.) But sadly, I was pretty disappointed. I found the pacing slow and the characters quite bland. There was one great spicy scene and one great angsty scene, but apart from that I spent a lot of this book feeling bored and disconnected. Perhaps it's just me and I wasn't in the headspace for a slow-paced, leisurely romance, but I'm not sure I'll be picking up the rest of the books in the series.

Still love Borison’s writing. I didn’t love the miscommunication trope, but it wasn’t immature or ridiculous. Both characters had trouble trusting and taking that leap, and it was written in a believable way. I loved Beckett and all his flaws. Too many grumpy characters don’t let anyone in, but Beckett fell so hard for Evie.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this ARC.

After recently reading Lovelight Farms and loving it, I was so excited to return back to these characters and town. Beckett was so interesting in the first book, that I couldn’t wait to see his character explored in this book.

I am happy to say that this book did not disappoint!

Beckett and Evelyn were so cute! I loved that they both were still thinking about each other even though their time together was so brief.

Every time Beckett called Evie “honey” or “hun” made me so giddy. The way they interacted was just so precious.

One aspect that was introduced in this book was Beckett’s family, and I loved it. His sisters and parents added to the story, and I loved how he interacted with them.

It was also fun getting to see glimpses of Stella and Luka in this book as well.

My only issue with this book was that Beckett and Evelyn’s conflict was frustrating because it could have been easily avoided had they just communicated better.

I would definitely recommend this book and the first book in this series. I can’t wait to read the next book!
