Okay look, I realize that I rated the other 2 books 4 stars, but the third book? LOVED. It just hit different. I still really love this series, it’s definitely grown on me. But I do feel like the third book you don’t necessarily have to read in order to understand what’s happening in the 4th book. I won’t officially know for sure until I start the 4th book, but that’s just the vibe it was giving. I did absolutely love the twist about Laine’s family, and how it traveled over to her, and the bit about fae blood being poisonous to vampires unless offered. Very nice. Y’all should definitely read this series, and I wish that there were physical copies instead of just ebooks. :(
