This gives a delightful, although sad look into the back story of Fintan and Myrradin. I love the way the great biblical flood was portrayed in this and how Noah and his ark supposedly happened. There was just enough character growth in this to make me like these two even more. Plus, anytime a leviathan makes and appearance, I am totally stoked. I recommend reading this after Paternus: Rise of Gods.

Read this to get a feel for the Paternus Trilogy. It's full of Mythology and lore which is great, the lack of dialogue made it feel a little detached rather than a story to sink into but it's a 40 page short and it certainly peeked my interest.

I've been meaning to read Paternus for a while, and for this would be a nice place to dip my toes and I loved it. It was a fascinating story, and very well written and I particularly enjoyed the encounter with the Leviathan, and I will be picking up the first of the main series next week!

I love the entire Paternus series so, of course, I throughly enjoyed reading this short story that fills in some blanks with background information. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
