Were you a gay teenager if you didn’t feel like Aiden felt?
I felt seen in Flamer. Aiden has so much rage and sadness and hopelessness that I absolutely connected with and I think almost every LGBT person would connect with. But it does end on a high note.
I will say that this isn’t for everyone. The homophobia is intense and it’s pretty sexually explicit. Go in knowing that you will be uncomfortable.
