The book had a nice twist that connected well, but I felt like the ending didn't satisfy me and could have ended on a stronger note.

One of the worst books I’ve ever read. I believe the author has never met a women because he describes all of them as fuckable, maternal, or a bitch and he constantly portrays the patients as such. There are a ton of plot holes that lead to absolutely nothing and are a cheap ploy of distraction that feel like the author believes the readers are stupid. If u have an ounce of feminism in you, do not read this book.

I don’t know how to start with this book. It just wasn’t for me.

I read this book in a day, and I don’t think I will read it again

I was expecting more from the plot twist, and whilst it was good, it left me a bit disappointed. The first 280 pages had me quite intrigued, but as soon as I read the beginnings of the twist-it made me want to put down the book and not in a good way. Yes, it explains the murder-but it is done in such a way that makes you sigh and rub your head.

I loved Alicia’s character and thought she was, although obviously quite a traumatised character, very cunning and probably the smartest character in the book.

Theo’s character was just..very bland. The way he talks about women and how the women are presented in this book is quite misogynistic in my opinion. He only likes the women that distract him from his problems, and the value in them come from their ability to solve his problems. The only reason he goes to ‘help’ Alicia was to settle his own conscience, and when he’s done with it, he attempts to murder her. He keeps his wife around, despite her infidelity, simply because it means he doesn’t have to deal with not having her around.

Whilst this book is mysterious with twists and betrayals for the most part, it just wasn’t for me.

this book was so good! i can see how it's so popular. i really enjoyed trying to predict what was going to happen next. only about half of my predictions came true, & that's a good thing! the ending i would have never gotten right, it was so chilling. although, the only thing that bothered me was the funky timeline, but i think that is the point of the author's writing style. you aren't supposed to know what the timeline is because of the author's mental state is what i am concluding on. 5/5!!
