Green Lantern (#35 - #36 ) – OH BOLPHUNGA WHERE ART THOU ?

Tim Seeley has done good work with Nightwing , but I remember it took some getting used to before I was truly entertained in that series , similarly I am going to give Seeley the benefit of the doubt with his GL run , considering his first arc was mellow and this one … well this is pretty meh as well .
The art was much better than the previous story arc , however GL run hasn’t had a solid art work really , so while it’s ok , it doesn’t grant any special attraction for the book .
The plot was very stereotyped and there wasn’t really any character building done either , which was very disappointing as the two characters have been really developing in the near 40 issue run so far , the villain has an interesting power but she doesn’t look very intimidating or fascinates me in any way at this point .
However there is also a story arc building in the back ground for quite some time now , featuring some real life political subject like migrants and intolerance , so... that sounds promising and definitely more alluring than what’s offered so far .
