I knew where this story was going, but it was still sad. It was good, though! I just wish we'd had more of Inara's POV; those few small paragraphs didn't feel like enough? And I wanted to know more about the snow-tears. Like why would the god of winter cry? I know he saved her because he pitied her, but I didn't think he'd cared enough to weep over her death? I don't know. That part stuck with me the most, tbh, and I wanted more details.
