Wow!  An outstanding post-pandemic book.  The author wrote a profoundly human story involving legal, moral, and emotional elements of how society cares for our most vulnerable people.  It was difficult for me to have the book end.

The big reveal happened, then happened again, then twisted, was overthought and untwisted and discussed even more. The concept was interesting and chilling. The intersections of characters were interesting and chilling and convenient.

I thought I reached the end of the ebook about 2 times before I finally did.
