I enjoyed this romance between Prince Raphael and a museum curator, Marc. Both men have amazing chemistry from the first moment at the auction. I enjoyed their banter and how they fell in love, and although this is a short story, it's filled with heart and a lot of love. Highly recommended!!

This book was such a breath of fresh air. After so many dark and overly twisted books this was a sweet love story with a hunt down through time. The slow burn with the desire of friends to lovers slowly warms your heart. This is the first I have read of this type of book and this author but I do see me reading more from this author and this genere.

I enjoyed this book and how much the angel had a part of it. It really echoed the first book in the slightly supernatural of the angel.
I really liked the country and the set up. I could almost imagine a hallmark movie, however I found the ending too rushed to give it five stars.

Perfect Ending to a Perfect Series
I loved this entire series. Even though the blurb says the books could be read in any order, I disagree. The books should definitely be read in chronological order based on the years. Rafael and Marc’s story was a perfect ending to this series. There wasn’t any angst. It was just beautiful love.

I wanted to end this Christmas Series with a bang. Unfortunately it felt kind of flat. No I'm not being fair. This was an okay and sweet book. But it could have been soo much more. And I feel kind of left out. The relation evolved in a confusing way and I felt like it skipped some major parts somewhere. The whole "discovery" didn't feel epic and life changing. The main character's feelings were not conveyed beyond the book margins, and I felt excluded and as if I stood listening outside the door, and only catching half of the words.

I liked the premise and start of this book (who doesn't love the magic of a Christmas story featuring a prince?!), but it slowly lost steam for me - the characters and their relationship becoming less focused and less interesting instead of more. By the end, it felt like a bit of a slog to get through.
Points for the fact that one of the main characters was a Curator (even if Scott did stretch the job description and cut corners with descriptions of artifact handling, though). ;)

The angel and her magic have made it to modern day for a bit of fairy tale romance complete with a handsome prince. The story starts out strong and I really liked the way Raphael and Marc meet, but I would've liked a bit more of a romance feel in the middle of the story. I'm all for a slow burn, but it felt like the love story floundered some while Raphael's family history was being discussed. Nevertheless, the family history was interesting, and we do get back to the romance with a little help from the angel. All in all, the story is lighthearted and the angst level is low. A nice way to round out this fun, magical series.

Lovely, sweet romance.
From about the 70% mark, though, the pacing felt rushed, starting with sex that happened too soon based on the narrative build-up and the characters' expressed desires and intents, and then compressing what should have been half to two-thirds of the story into the last one third.
