This book series as a whole has been with me throughout high school. Going into the final book, I was afraid the ending wouldn't be satisfying or even be bad, but I was wrong. This book left a satisfying conclusion on Lottie, Ellie, and Jamie's stories and I couldn't ask for a better one. I wasn't left wanting or questioning too much. I was happy.
This book showed a world of readers that queer people can have a happily ever after. Too many times, we are faced with traumatic stories about our sexuality without a happy ending. Thank you, Connie, for showing the world that we are here, we are queer and that we deserve a happily ever after.

this series was such an incredibly important part of my tween years- it helped me with coming to terms of my queer identity, developed my passion for reading and so on
despite my few minor issues with the series, it truly is a beautiful work that has made me feel a range of emotions.

i cant believe that this series is over. ive been following it since it was announced, when i was thirteen. five years, five amazing books, and many, many more amazing characters.
Mit Band 1 der beste der Reihe!!! Mich hat es begeistert. Der Verlauf des ganzen Buches war ein krönender Abschluss. Wirklich sehr gelungen. Ich konnte noch einmal in die Geschichte von Lotti, Ellie, Jamie und allen anderen abtauchen. Ich bin traurig, dass es zuende ist.
