Really liked this up until the ending- felt like a big shift in tone/message in a deus ex machina way

This book is an exceptional take on empathy and just adolescence and puberty and it’s a beautiful piece of literature

I didn’t think a book this short would be able to make me feel so much (ironic since the main character cant feel anything)

It’s so short but also so beautiful.
If i had started annotating this book once i started reading it, i would’ve probably underlined every other sentence.
And by the end i got a little emotional as well
SAFE TO SAY this is a book i wont forget

What a good book OMG,
The author writes beautifully. Even tho it is a short book, it is full of feelings and growing characters. Every time I read it, it surprised me how many things could be written in such few pages.

It took me some time to finish it but it was mainly because I'm a pussy and I knew what was coming...

I don't even know how to explain how in love I'm with this book. It's my first time reading a Korean writer and she didn't disappoint me at all. So easy to read and such a lovely story that keeps your emotions alive. It is amazing how this story makes you feel so much when Yunjae, our protagonist, was born with Alexithymia (a brain condition that makes hard for him to feel emotions).
