I am so mad at myself - how can a book that is so silly be so good

I feel like I'm pretty picky when it comes to books, but this was EVERYTHING!! The book hangover I had after reading this book lasted weeks.
The romance in this book was *chef's kiss*. Literally, he teaches her how to cook. But seriously this book had me giggling and kicking my feet, crying, and banging my had against the wall at the best "late in the game climax" I've read lately.

i’m gonna start by saying i was surprised by how good this book actually was? well, it wasn’t great, but giving that it was full of clichés, it was pretty good.
moving on to my thoughts while i was reading it… oh my god for how long is she gonna keep talking about how her brother, mason, is very protective and that can be both a blessing and a curse? istg that was all she talked about in the first chapters…
second of all, and i don’t know if it was intentional or not, the book isn’t very clear about her feelings.. i didn’t know who to root for and ended up not rooting for any of the guys. noah was very cute and deserved better than her; chase was an asshole and, as much as i wanted him to end up with ari, i couldn’t root for them cause they didn’t have ANY chemistry. but then, her relationship with noah evolved too quickly and didn’t seem genuine (on her side). noah obviously knew that arianna loved chase yet he still tried to win her heart and got sad when he realized she might still have feelings for him
