It's been only one day and I binge read the whole thing, finished at 2.16am lol. It was great, loved it when Percy came in to the stotmry. Meg broke my heart and made me get the 'feels' and argh I hate Nero, hopefully Meg sees the real side of him and not the step father she thinks he is. Apollo finally getting used to being a Human. And then the icing on the cake Leo and Calypso! Rick Riordan never fails to impress with his writing and sarcasm in nearly all of his characters, such a enjoyable read!

Apollo was more obnoxious than I was expecting but by the end you could tell he will probably change. Other than that fantastic as you would expect from Rick Riordan

A pretty solid addition to the Percy Jackson universe - I'm relieved that Riordan is again writing from the perspective of a humorous main character, which I think is his strong suit. It doesn't work quite as well here as it did with Percy and Magnus (having a god make witty references doesn't hit quite as well since it occasionally makes you question why a god would have such mundane, human reference points) but it's still funny if you don't pick it apart too much. This story does struggle with less likable characters than previous series, but I'm hoping they'll grown on me.

The Hidden Oracle comienza seis meses después de la última vez que vimos Apolo siendo castigado por Zeus por lo sucedido en la batalla contra Gea, con Apolo cayendo en Nueva York siendo un mortal.
Zeus necesitaba alguien a quien culpar, así que por supuesto escogería al más hermoso, más talentoso, más popular dios en el panteón: a mí.
Cuando leí PJO, dije que Apolo era uno de mis personajes favoritos de la serie porque, tenía 14 y era bastante impresionable, y adoro a los personajes apasionados y confiados. Por lo que cuando esta saga/trilogía fue anunciada, estaba muy feliz.
Además, el dios del sol siempre me ha fascinado.
-Lo que me gusto:
-El punto de vista de Apolo es muy diferente a cualquiera a las perspectivas que ha escrito Riordan antes, porque tiene capas, historias y actitudes que muchos de los personajes que leí antes carecen. Tampoco es tu típico héroe, la mayoría del tiempo es egocéntrico, egoísta y no sabe que está haciendo.
-La relación entre Apolo y sus hijos fue un punto muy importante en este libro. Me gustó especialmente que no todo fuera amor porque está bastante claro que la mayoría de los dioses no tienen mucho interés en sus hijos, y también como la relación entre ellos creció durante la trama.
-Will Solace es una de las constantes que más me gusto, interviniendo justo cuando es necesario pero dándole protagonismo a su padre. Igualmente, su relación con Nico me hace increíblemente feliz.
-El cambio en la narración fue refrescante, sobre todo después de leer tantos libros de PJO y HOO. También el desarrollo de sucesos cambió bastante al no ser un viaje con criaturas mitológicas apareciendo en todas partes, sino que es más como una búsqueda de respuestas, está situada en un solo sitio y todavía sigue siendo interesante.
-La diversidad y la representación son muy importantes y leer una historia con un protagonista bisexual y personajes gay que están en una relación saludable es bonito en muchos niveles diferentes.
-Estoy extremadamente complacida porque Percy apareció pocas veces, no porque no me guste, sino porque ya estoy cansada de que el pobrecito no tenga un descanso.

Some people might hate me for this but i like Apollo's narration better than Percy's.
He's sooo fun, i loved getting inside his head, that being said, i understand what everyone says about how this book is a little i don't want to say boring but, yeah... it's a lot of info dumping on the reader, a looot of internal monologue and as much as i prefer a single pov i started to miss the multiple povs from the previous series.
Lo mismo con el ultimo de la serie anterior, pasan miles de cosas pero al mismo tiempo nada.
Overall, i had fun and i hope the rest of the series continues that was.

Did Rick Riordan write this book specifically for me? God-turned-mortal is my jam, and Apollo is snarky, arrogant, and hella bi to boot. Delight!
Can we also just take a moment to appreciate how awesome it is that the protagonist of a major middle grade series is explicitly bi? Because it's pretty freakin' great.
