“On Writing” was as excellent as everyone says it is. If you’re curious about writing fiction—or are even just curious to learn more about Stephen King’s life and how he crafts his own novels—I highly recommend this book which was both encouraging & useful.

My mother got me this book to read when I was around 14 to try and get me to improve my writing skill, I enjoyed it even though it didn't really help me become a better writer, the stories Stephen tells are very interesting and it's fun to learn how his writers mind works.

A very interesting book on writing though I do not agree with King on some issues, I find this book entertaining and useful for aspiring authors or just enthusiastic readers like myself.

Not only informative for writers, but also a cracking memoir.
