Super cute. I loved the main character and the way she comes into her own, and the cast of characters is equal parts sweet and goofy.

I love Rom-Coms that have a touch of magic! As the title implies, this book is about getting to do a year over and looking at your choices and how you would do things differently. It also is a lesson in appreciation for things you have too.
I listened to this audio book and like most Rom-Coms, it was an easy listen. The spice was barely there but there was some language so I'm not sure I would classify it as "cozy."
I think my one criticism would be the sexism underlying theme. While I appreciate the storyline of the struggle women face in male dominated industries, I struggle with this perception that you have to be loud and overly opinionated to be a feminist.
Overall, it's a classic Rom-Com and a nice palet cleanse between fantasy books.

one of the easiest five stars to give this year. i truly absolutely adored this book. i may not be a pastry chef, but i get sadie. i loved all the characters. the plot was great and angsty. BROTHER’S BEST FRIEND…. with jacob <3 i deeply wished we got to see more their romance but i absolutely happy.
Everything about this book was bad: the story, the writing, the plot, the protagonist, the absolute lack of romance. God what an awful book.
