I really loved this book! It has ALL the Dark Academia/prep school vives with intriguing characters and a plot which will keep you reading. If you enjoy Elite, Gossip Girl, or any similar teenager drama/thriller, you MUST pick up this book when it comes out in July!!!

a disappointing read, the ending felt random and made no sense and the writing was very cliche, I was cringing at many parts I also found some parts very unrealistic?? don't want to spoil anything though
also definitely not a fan of the main character

other than that the plot was really intriguing and intense! there were definitely parts that had me on the edge of my seat

I expected more, I think it was just the writing style that threw me off.

I had a chance to read this wonderful book early! Prepare yourself for tons of morally ambitious teens, betrayal, Asian American rep, secrets & lies around every corner and a dramatic ending! You won't want to miss this one.

I have read 2 other boarding school books recently, really enjoyed The Ivies and liked Ace of Spades but it was way too over the top, even for YA. I almost didn't continue with this one because I thought I was worn out with this trope, but I liked it more than I expected to. The sequel was left with an intriguing set up!
