Heja klassiker.

I liked this one much more than I liked the original. It no longer has the racist and ableist parts, there is more magic involved and it expands on the roles of Mary's mother and Collin's father and it actually gives them a reason to act the way they do. Mary and her uncle have an actual moment together, the stakes are a higher at the end of the story and the kids no longer have an old man as a friend that is barely there at the end of the book even though his role seemed important, but he is instead replaced by a dog. I love the addition of magic and ghosts and I love that Dickon is no longer an old man trapped in a boy's body.
