I don't think this was any better or worse than the other book. I think this one focused on the mom a LITTLE bit more but in a constructive way. Overall still super cute and enjoyable.

This manga might be repetitive, but it's so sweet and sincere. A gem, considering how LGBTQ+ characters and stories are often depicted in manga.

This series is so lovely and sweet and kind. The standout moment in this volume is definitely Tomoko realizing that she has to come up with figuring out a way to explain that Hiroki's male friends shouldn't sleepover if he obviously has a crush on them without letting on that she knows that he's gay.
