I cannot even understand how I feel about this book, it was one of the fastest book on this series for me in terms of the time I read it but I HATED, HATED,HATED that first part of the book where he supposedly fell in love with Hermione Watson. First off, Hermione Watson? Really?!? Second, second place is not as glamorous as this book wanted to show. Infatuation and love are definitely not the same and I know that he was not in love with Hermoine but I find it quite distasteful to say the least, that he chose to be infatuated with the best friend of the woman he ultimately falls “in love” with. Sorry but that is not a trope I particularly care for. Now for that second part of the book….
When the memes said that Gregory put his brothers to shame in the insane/unhinged department I did not anticipated that it will get tot his level. The way I was laughing and feeling sad and giddy at the end made this book worth while. I enjoyed that second half more than the last book (#7) and if I think hard enough and imagine the start of it different, this could have been my favorite book out of the series. But Alas, it is what it is! So this is my second least favorite of the bunch. Cant wait to see the twist they will probably make on the tv series if we get there!

“I think I’ll miss you forever. Like the stars miss the sun in the morning sky …”

I’m actually so sad that I’ve finished this series. This series has been one of my absolute favorites, and it’ll definitely stay with me forever. These characters mean so, so much to me, and I love them. As I type this, I’m actually sitting here in slight astonishment over this series and how much I loved it. I do hope that someday there’ll be books about the children. That’s my hope. I loved Gregory and Lucy. I loved their story, and seeing Gregory all grown up made me unexplainably happy. The Bridgerton family deserves so much, and I’ll love them forever. Overall, I give this book 4.5/5 stars, and I’m so sad it’s over.

I loved this finale to the Bridgerton series. Lucy and Gregory are my favorite couple by far. I love how the author added more dimension to the characters as the series went on and I feel they were well round and not just all about marriage.

I have to say, I am quite sad that my journey with the Bridgerton's has come to an end. This book was not my favorite, but I loved reading their happily ever after. It's interesting seeing how all of the children rely on different variations of siblings and friends depending on their birth order. I loved Lucy's freshness and sense of duty. It really resonated with me that she is so loyal and protective no matter the circumstance. I guess the only place to go from here is to the next series!
