This story was so different from what I usually read. What I love most is how pure respectable and honorable the romances between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth and Jane and Mr. Bingley were. Like they're just serious about it - the main is objective is marriage. How I wish the attitude of men and women in the 1800s regarding this would be the attitude of men and women in 2023.

I will not deny that I did not understand quite alot of things due to the actual complexity of the author's writing, but it didn't affect my understanding of the story much.

It is painfully slow burn - literally nothing I sanctuary happening in the first 100 pages - but it is enemies to lovers. I loved it.

Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is arguably her most popular work, and I believe that it lives up to all expectations. It is witty, romantic, thought-provoking, and humorous.
