📕Review: Beginning of book notes... "everything hurts". Every time I read this, I just hurt, even though I know the ending. HD Carlton has a way of writing heartbreak that I will never understand. Hunting Adeline was I will admit my favourite book this year to date!
It was EXTREMELY dark and it could be triggering to many. I however enjoyed reading the MFC journey from the dark and violent start all the way through to recovery then onto her final revenge.
I was on the edge of my seat from the start until the end waiting and hoping with baited breath.
Not only did she have to suffer through the unthinkable she also had to fight through her demons to find her way back to herself but came out stronger and by far a fearless warrior for all she endured with the support from the ones she loves. I wish I could read this for the first time again.
