Grip takes place a few years after the end of Flow and Grip is breaking into the music scene with Bristol as his manager. The personal relationship between the two has been so damaged and a professional relationship is all that exists now. Bristol has her reservations about giving in to Grip's constant pursual of her and this leads them to further strain their relationship. Through the course of the book, we see the progression of both of their lives and them truly figuring out what they need to confront in order to be happy and together. It was quite the journey but the love that they have for one another is so clear and you as a reader feel it so deeply. I loved the social commentary between an interracial relationship and what that would mean to them.

Honestly, this series has already pulled out every emotion in me.
