Wow. Just wow. Stolen Soulmate takes you on a journey for Grey and Story. And what a journey it is! It starts off as a tumultuous (non)relationship, but out of the bad blooms a beautiful story of true love, and let me tell you, the cliff hanger is worth the wait to see what comes next for Grey and Story! Cannot wait for the next!

This is the second book in this series and the beginning of Story and Gray. Gorgeously Cruel sexy and devious Grayson Crowne somehow managed to capture the heart of Storybook Hale. Two completely opposite people who should be 100 miles or more away from each other. She is the maid, he is meant to be king so to speak. Two people who should not be together. But fate has something more in story for these two. And let me tell you Mary Catherine does such an amazing job writing this one. It was intense from the beginning to the end. Better than the first one. I absolutely loved not only the chemistry between these two but the push and pull that these two have. They dance around each other so much but in the end you can easily see that these two are meant for each other. But someone stands in the way. Tradition stands in the way.
Storybook is sassy and ballsy and the perfect one to snap back at Gray. She evokes feelings and emotions in him that bother him on so many different levels. I absolutely love her character. She was the one character that I was truly drawn to in this series. There was just something about her that has me drawn in and wanting more.
And more is what we get as their story continues in the next one. These two will draw you in and have you gripped nonstop until the very end. Mary Catherine gives you two very interesting intense characters that you cant help but want more from. Highly recommend grabbing this one.

Jesus. I have taken all day to think about how I feel about this book, but ya know, I just can't. There was snot bubbles involved in reading this. My heart and head hurt so bad. Talk about heartless hero, dude is a straight up asshole douchecanoe. Why do people love when the hero is such an asshole? I dunno but this author made me love him. I really, really hated him for a good part of the book, but something just clicked, but that thin line of love and hate is very thin indeed.
The setting for this book is lavish, at first it took me a little time to get used to it, I would honestly liken it to the setting of The Great Gatsby. It's not set in that era, but that is the vibe I get. The author gets to the meat of the book and by then you are so invested all you can do is flip the pages even though it seems like most of the people in this book are just a bunch of privileged entitled asswipes. Take it from me, this is a must read, the emotions the struggle, the loathing, the hate, the love, it will leave you blown away and I can't wait for more.

Overall Grade: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have to begin my review with candid honesty. I did not read the first book in this series, and I think I may have missed the depth of Story and Greyson's story. Yes, this is steamy. Yes, their chemistry flies off the page. Yes, you pine for them to end up together. However, this book takes it in a different direction in the end, and a small part of you dies a little. The emotional one-two punch of this book will keep you reading especially through those moments that tear at your heart. This suggests that Mary Catherine Gebhard can weave romance together in a way that grabs at your soul. If you love angsty romance with an ill-fated hero and heroine, then you will want to read Stolen Soulmate. It's steamy, dirty, and will bring you to your knees.

I am unwell. I need this sequel like yesterday. Holy shit.

This was so gripping. I haven’t cried about a book in a loooong while and I was crying at the end of this!! The emotional roller coaster you go on with this book is epic.

I did not know what I was getting into when I read this book as his was my first book by Gebhard. Now she will be a one click buy for me. This book was everything.

The writing is phenomenal, the characters are dynamic, and the plot itself is so unique.

Once you start reading this you will not want to put it down.

I don’t want to give any spoilers away but you need this in your life! I was blown away by this book.

I just can't root for any of these characters. I can't connect with them, either. They had too many push-and-pull moments that it ultimately became aggravating.

I liked the premise, and this had the potential to be an honestly good story. But I ultimately didn't like where the storyline went. I found myself facepalming way too many times.

It ends with a cliffhanger, too. Not sure if I'm interested enough to read it once it comes out.
