I really wanted to write a proper review for this one, but it's been months and it doesn't look like that's ever gonna happen.

I really liked this book. It's probably my second favorite by the author (after Atonement). I loved how the relationship between Zane and Connor progressed. They were both complex characters who worked perfectly together. Also, I really liked how different the tone of this book was from the author's other books. It's seriously a bummer that we almost never get to see Zane and Connor show to up in future books.

Even better the 2nd time. And that 8 years epilogue is everything. And then we get a series epilogue too! I still love Zane, and I loved seeing jagger and Declan from the previous book. I never really understood why the Baretti brothers didn’t get a book as good as this. It always felt like their stories should’ve been longer.

I love characters like Zane. Seeing someone so emotionally closed off finding their way is so rewarding. I loved how he loved Connor. This was lovely and I couldn’t put it down. I read it in a day.

Oh how I loved Zane

I seriously love this author. I randomly found her and after reading my first book by her I fell in love and I'm so glad I did. Each story she writes keeps getting better and better and this one is no different.

Zane is amazing. Once he gets over his all I want is sex. When we begins to open up you see a side of him you can't help but love and the way he is with Connor is beautiful. I felt they fit well that you could easily see they were what each other needed. It didn't seem forced or fake it was so real.

Yet another great M/M book by this author and I got to say I can't wait for more I think maybe Brennen should get his own book! *Hint*

Wow, what a ride!

This is the 12th Sloane Kennedy book I've read in a matter of days, and it's one of my favorites so far. Sloane writes about beautiful, broken men that manage to find peace and happiness eventually, but the path to get there isn't always predictable. This story in particular took some twists and turns I really wasn't expecting, which makes me happy because it's not formulaic. I have no idea how she can write so many varied books with characters you fall in love with (and sometimes cry over), but I am already a diehard fan and can't wait to read the rest!

This was my favorite book. Zane and Connor both had problems for sure but when they came together it was wonderful.

Even during my re-read Connor and Zane stole this series. I loved them both so much and appreciate them showing up in other books even more now.
