Gryphon?! First?! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Atlas is sus, I don’t trust a guy who does everything for a woman he’s only just met regardless of biological bonding or w/e. North is warming up, and Gabe is the ideal guy.

I really enjoyed this next chapter in the series. We get to know more about Oli’s gift and see how her relationships with her bonds start to change and we get to meet Brutus! That’s all I can say about him. We learn a bit more about her bonds too. I like the pace of the reveals and the spice. I will say there still is a bit of filler that could have be cut down, but I am too invested in the characters and storyline for this to be an issue.
Definitely a step up from Book 1 and a worthy sequel.
