I technically read the 1st 16 chapters several months ago and then picked it up again recently to finish it off and I really enjoyed it. I thought the overall idea was super cute, I liked the characters and I wanted to see how things went.
I really enjoyed it but that being said, I didn't love it. I felt like some of the characters fell flat, the chemistry was lost at times and some of the stories were not resolved as well as I would have liked. I did think most of it was really adorable and I had a great experience with it overall! If you're into fake dating this will probably be an enjoyable one for you!

I felt like this had a lot of potential, but the story really dragged for me. I will say that this made me want fresh bread every time I picked it up to read, so be sure to have some bread on stand-by!

*3.5 rounded up* okay this one was definitely cute and I liked it but the miscommunication was a little too much for me. That being said I thought this book was silly and made me laugh out loud. There were themes in the book I really liked ex. Family, sisterhood, culture, etc. I thought Nadim was a really easy character to fall in love with but the communication between him and Reena just seemed off. Overall definitely think it’s cute but wasn’t amazing too me.

This was such a cute desi romance in Canada☺️ I loved all the characters and the plot! The only con for me was that the conflict in the rom-com was too silly. But hey, I was fully entertained ☺️
