Mice can just be greedy. When you give a mouse a cookie, he ends up wanting way too many other things. I can't help but think that the book is cute and it reminds me of when you give a child anything, but I also can't hep but think that it may inspire some bad habits. I can see it working as a teaching tool or a way to express what NOT to do, but it's just not my favorite book.

I read this in bed through the Libby app because I wanted something short and familiar, and I hadn’t read this since I was a kid. Super cute!
