I really liked this book. Even though I literally didn't understand half of the things the author was talking about (i aspire to be that level of confusing) I really liked the structure and how the author organized the chapters, the parts (part 1, part 2, etc.), and the poem title. They really spoke for themselves, and that was essentially a bigger poem in itself.

i am not exaggerating when i say this is one of the most incredible, poetry collections i have ever read. awestruck. this was a quite literal dissection of the human body, of human grief, human eroticism and desire and sexuality, human greed, human history, human sickness, human hate, human invented god.

sam sax knows just how far to bring every metaphor he uses in this collection so it is the ideal balance of complexity and readability. Madness is an impressive calling card of a debut collection.

cool . this collection really let it out. a gratifying read for you who is mystified and frustrated by pathology, medical meddling of any kind. if you are amused by the dymanics between doctor and patient, if you are uncovering the truth behind what lets medicine exist. this is a smart ad also, sexy, and also, heartwrenching collection about what happend to our hearts when we let nature be categorized by science!
